Let Me In 'concept' one-sheets

Source: First Showing

Just when we thought that director Matt Reeves hadn't even finished casting his in-the-works Let the Right One In remake, we already have three awesome posters? SlashFilm has dug up these poster designs for Let Me In, the Colorado-set US remake of the beloved Swedish vampire film, which are all actually very cool. As far as I know, these are no 'official' posters (since it hasn't even started shooting), but rather early sales posters created to help sell the film in markets and get funding. So they don't feature the actual cast or anything like that - but they're the same kind of posters I saw up all over Cannes. Anyway, check 'em out!

"I was so taken with the story and I had a very personal reaction. It reminded me a lot of my childhood, with the metaphor that the hard times of your pre-adolescent, early adolescent moment, that painful experience is a horror," Reeves recently explained about his connection to the original Let the Right One In directed by Tomas Alfredson. Reeves also vows that the characters in this "will not be aged-up to make the film more of a smoldering Twilight-style romance."

  1. Well, if nothing else, it's nice to see Hammer making their comeback with a vampire film.
